Staff Required for Projects

C-DIT invites online applications from eligible candidates for the following temporary project position with consolidated remuneration:

1. Project Supervisor

  • Number of Positions: 5
  • Maximum Age Limit: 36 years
  • Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year Diploma from a recognized University/Institute
  • Experience: One year of Supervisory experience in major IT-related projects
  • Remuneration: Rs. 24,800 per month
  • Job Role: The role of Project Supervisor is to monitor the digitization projects and manage post-processing jobs.
  • Period & Mode of Engagement: 1 year or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier

Key Responsibilities of a Project Supervisor

As a Project Supervisor at C-DIT, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that ensure the smooth execution of digitization projects. Your role will involve:

  1. Monitoring Digitization Projects: Oversee the entire digitization process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  2. Managing Post-Processing Jobs: Handle post-processing activities to ensure the quality and integrity of digitized data.
  3. Team Coordination: Work closely with team members to achieve project goals within the stipulated timelines.
  4. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress and report regularly to senior management.

General Conditions/Instructions for Applicants

To ensure a smooth application process and fair evaluation, C-DIT has outlined the following general conditions and instructions for applicants:

  1. Mode of Application: Applications must be submitted online. Applications received through any other means, including post, fax, or e-mail, will not be entertained.
  2. Application Completeness: Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Acceptance or rejection of applications is at the sole discretion of C-DIT and will be binding on the applicant.
  3. Eligibility Check: Candidates should read the instructions carefully and ensure that they possess the required eligibility, qualifications, and experience in the relevant domains before applying for any post.
  4. Post Variability: The number of posts shown herein is indicative only and may vary depending on the requirements of the client/projects. C-DIT reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment to any one or more posts at its sole discretion.
  5. Age, Qualification, Experience: Only the age, qualification, and experience possessed by the applicant as of the closing date of the notification will be considered. Applicants shall clearly specify the details and provide supporting documents. Experience certificates furnished shall be issued by reputed establishments.
  6. Recognized Qualifications: Qualifications obtained from universities/institutions recognized by the Government of India, Government of Kerala, Kerala PSC, or empowered academic bodies only will be considered. Candidates possessing equivalent or higher qualifications are eligible to apply. Such applicants should furnish documentary proof, in case of equivalency.
  7. Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit, as applicable, will be considered per norms prescribed by the Government of Kerala, in the case of deserving categories, provided such candidates claim age relaxation in the application and upload and produce supporting documents to prove their eligibility.
  8. Initial Verification and Shortlisting: Initial verification and shortlisting of applicants will be based on the details provided in the application and the copies of the documents uploaded.
  9. Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called in for attending a written test, skill test, or interview at the centres allotted by C-DIT. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
  10. Provisional List: Mere inclusion of the candidate in the shortlist/provisional list is not a claim for engagement in the project.
  11. Original Certificate Verification: Original certificates shall be submitted for verification when intimated. If any discrepancy is found in the application and documents, at any stage, the offer letter shall be cancelled and the candidate will be disqualified.
  12. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC): Selected candidates may have to produce a Police Clearance Certificate at the time of joining, if so required in the offer letter.
  13. No Claim for Regular Appointment: The appointees shall have no claim for regular appointment in any of the C-DIT establishments after the expiry of the period of this contract engagement.
  14. Posting Locations: Posting can be anywhere in the client offices/project sites situated in the State of Kerala.
  15. Terms and Conditions: The terms and conditions and service benefits shall be as per the terms and conditions prescribed by the client department, and the selected candidate shall enter into an agreement with C-DIT in the prescribed format.
  16. Canvassing: Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

Procedure to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by following these steps:

  2. Document Upload: Candidates are expected to upload scanned copies of the supporting documents valid as of the closing date. Failing to do so may result in the application being treated as incomplete or rejected.
  3. Registration and Submission: Complete the online registration first and upload the necessary documents. Thereafter, verify the details and submit the application. Changes, if any, can be made only before the final submission.
  4. Stay Updated: Applicants are advised to regularly visit the site and note any changes in the schedules/requirements published.
  5. Shortlist Notification: The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on www.cdit.org and www.careers.cdit.org. The intimation to the candidates will be sent by e-mail only.
  6. Selection Centers: Candidates may choose the centre for the written/skill test wherever permitted. However, the allocation of the test centre will be made at the sole discretion of C-DIT, subject to meeting the minimum required candidates at each centre.
  7. Evaluation and Ranking: Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the preliminary evaluation of the written/skill test as decided by C-DIT. The provisional list of shortlisted candidates will be published on www.careers.cdit.org. The final rank list will be published based on detailed evaluation and interviews.
  8. Communication: All communications with the candidates will be through email only.
