Indian Navy Invites Applications for Short Service Commission Officers - Jun 2025 Course

The Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried men and women for Short Service Commission (SSC) for the course commencing in June 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates must meet the nationality conditions as laid down by the Government of India.

2. Other Important Notes:
- CPL Holders: Candidates with a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by DGCA (India) born between 02 Jul 2000 and 01 Jul 2006 can apply for Pilot entry.
- NCC Candidates: NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will receive a 5% relaxation in cut-off marks, provided they meet the criteria mentioned.
- Only one application is allowed per candidate.
- Candidates are required to fulfill educational qualifications before joining INA in Jun 2025.
Selection Procedure:
1. Shortlisting:
- Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- For BE/B.Tech candidates in the final year, marks up to the 5th semester will be considered.
2. SSB Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or SMS.
- Change of SSB Center or dates is not allowed.
- AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview if appearing for the first time.
Training:
- Selected candidates will be inducted as Sub Lieutenant.
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training.
- Probation Period: 2-3 years based on the branch, starting from the date of Sub Lieutenant rank.
Pay & Allowances:
The basic pay of Sub Lieutenant starts from ₹56,100/- with applicable allowances.
